Frequently Asked Questions

What do the results look like?

Your report will include easy overviews of your data, so you can see where you stand, how your health metrics have changed, and identify the most meaningful areas of improvement. View our sample report here.

Where do I book a consultation?

Book your FREE Health Hangout. Join our DEXA experts as they explain the report data, provide guidance, and address questions in small online group sessions. Engage and participate or just listen and learn.

What should I wear?

For your scan, wear 1 layer of comfortable clothing with minimal metal (zippers, belts, bra underwires, etc.) over your underwear. Workout clothes are great!

Is there a late policy?

Yes! BodySpec events are often completely full. This means we can only allow a five-minute grace period for late arrivals. If you are running even a few minutes behind, please contact us immediately at 310-601-8184 (and leave a voicemail) so we can do everything possible to accommodate you.

Can I eat and drink before my scan?

Undigested food and water can affect your fat and lean tissue measurements. To keep your results consistent, we recommend scanning under the same conditions as much as you can. We also suggest scanning at the same time of day for each appointment when possible.
